Accommodation

We can provide accommodation for exchange students in a limited number in the dormitories of the university, situated on the different campuses of the University.

The applications for accommodation are judged on the first come first served basis. As the number of applicants is very high, we cannot guarantee the housing. Students who do not succeed in getting accommodation in a dormitory can find a private flat/room for rent through real estate agencies. In case of getting a place in our dormitories, a five-month contract will be signed and the whole dormitory fee has to be paid in one installment upon your arrival.

Lajos Kossuth Dormitory

located at the main Campus of the University, 100 meters from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities and the Faculty of Science and Technology, and 250 meters from the Faculty of Music, also very close to the medical faculties
double rooms are available
rooms are provided with internet access, TV (10 free channels) and a refrigerator
a common kitchen is available on every floor.

200 000 HUF/semester (due after arrival)
taking out a room for less than 5 months is not possible

Lajos Kossuth Dormitory

Campus Hotel

located at the Kassai Campus of the University, 100 meters from the Faculty of Public Health, Faculty of Law and and from the Faculty of Informatics
acts as a three-star hotel
930 beds on almost 17 thousand square meters
located a 15-minute walk from downtown and a 5-minute walk from the Great Forest

Room types and facilities:

no single rooms available, only double rooms with bathrooms
air conditioning, internet connection, TV and fridge all serve for residents’ convenience
residents can cook and eat in shared kitchens
all rooms are provided with a telephone, beds with linen, drawers and a lockable wardrobe
services: sports courts, fitness room, laundry room, photocopy shop, restaurant, bar, and buffet

Veres Péter Kollégium

located at the Böszörményi Street Campus of the University, which is the campus of the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences and Environmental Management and the Faculty of Economics and Business

three students are accommodated in a room, no double or single rooms are available
internet connection, own water block to the room
residents can cook and eat in shared kitchens
