NeurotechEU Hackathon: Wearable Neurotechnology – fNIRS & EEG
Time&Venue: 29-30 Oct online, 6-11 Nov Radboud University, Nijmegen (NL)
Focus: Wearable neurotechnology, real-time physiological signal processing, and mobile brain monitoring (fNIRS / EEG) in cross-border multidisciplinary teams.

The NeurotechEU European University Alliance is organizing an intensive hackathon designed for researchers and innovators who want to tackle real-world challenges using modern wearable neurotechnologies. If you are a PhD student of the University of Debrecen, eager to work with real fNIRS and EEG datasets, prototype new concepts, and build a solid European research network, this is your opportunity.
What we offer:

- Financial coverage: Travel and accommodation expenses for selected candidates are funded through the Pannónia or the Erasmus+ Scholarship Programme.
Who are we looking for? Active PhD students at the University of Debrecen (primarily across medicine, computer science, biomedical engineering, natural sciences, or cognitive sciences) who:
- Possess professional working proficiency in English;
- Demonstrate a strong drive for interdisciplinary problem-solving;
- Commit to take part at the whole programme;
- Commit to serving as university ambassadors upon return by presenting their key takeaways, results, and experiences at institutional workshops or promotional events.

- What unique technical, research, or analytical skills make you a strong asset for a hackathon team?
