Academic year 2023/2024 (February 2023 - 31 July 2024)

About the ERASMUS+ programme

Erasmus+ is a European Union programme covering education, training, youth and sport.

1.Aim of the application

Traineeship in a company or organisation in another programme or partner country. The aim is to help you acquire the skills needed in the Community labour market and to understand the economic and social culture of the host country.

The host institution may be a private or public institution in the labour market, education, training or youth field. It cannot be a National Agency in another Programme Country or an organisation funded by EU funds.

2.Eligible applicants

Students enrolled at the University of Debrecen (bachelor, master, master's, doctoral and higher vocational education, full-time and correspondence courses) who are students. Individuals with doctoral candidate status are not eligible to apply. Students who are in receipt of a Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship may not be mobile during their studies.

Important! In view of the limited funding possibilities, the Erasmus Committee has decided that for the academic year 2023/2024, students who are on a Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship at the University of Debrecen will not be able to apply for a post-graduate traineeship.

3.Eligible activities

Traineeship mobility of higher education students (duration 2-12 months).

Combination of studies and placements (duration 2-12 months).

Important! In view of the limited funding possibilities, the Erasmus Committee has decided that for the academic year 2023/2024 the maximum period of support for student placements will be 4 months (120 days). Exceptions to this rule may be made only in particularly duly justified cases and with the permission of the faculty. The limitation only concerns the funded period, and the mobility may also include a "zero-grant" period for which the participant does not receive a grant but is granted Erasmus status.

Last date for end of mobility: 31 July 2024.

4.Countries participating in the programme

Member States of the European Union (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden)
